Zendaya is said to have arrived an hour late to the Euphoria premiere in the latest “power move” to keep her distance during her feud with Sydney Sweeney.
While the rest of her co-stars were “sitting long” ready for the 7 p.m. screening, Zendaya, 29, reportedly didn’t get up until 8 p.m. in an effort to avoid tension.
Rumors of on-set drama have plagued much of the upcoming season, with inside sources claiming that Zendaya and Sweeney are avoiding each other “on and off” the set.
When the opportunity to celebrate the third season of the HBO hit came in the form of a screening last week, the atmosphere was particularly chilly as Zendaya didn’t get to pose with any other cast members.
In the latest episode of The Rest Is Entertainment , Richard Osman and Marina Hyde discussed the “military-style” operation needed to reunite the cast in one place, particularly Zendaya and her “MAGA Barbie” co-star, Sweeney.
Delving into the drama surrounding the new season’s release, they speculated on why the show’s three breakout stars—Zendaya, Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi—would return to the series.

“There are two shots of some of them, but there’s supposed to be a big fight between Zendaya and Sydney. Who knows where that might be. But they’re definitely not together in any photos.
“And when you look at everything you can see, oh, okay, those two like each other. Those two. Yes. And there were so many angles and storylines just about this and who’s coming and in what order.
“It was kind of like a fashion show in Paris where at the end, you know, Rihanna will arrive about two hours late and then the show can start.”
At the Los Angeles premiere, fans were quick to point out the apparent friction between co-stars Zendaya and Sweeney on the red carpet.
During the evening, Zendaya was filmed greeting her co-star Hunter Schafer, who has a close and genuine friendship that is well-documented in real life.
She was also seen hugging director Levinson before being rushed inside by his team without speaking to the assembled press.
